We are Created for His Glory
Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him. Isaiah 43:7
We are not our own. Our bodies are living sacrifices (Romans 12:1). All that we are and ever hope to be has been created for the glory of God. Whatever our hands set to do, we are to do so unto God and not man.
When we encounter valleys, mountains, or weapons trying to be formed...God is looking for glory to come from it, the glory due His name and whether we glorify Him now or later, He will ensure He gets His glory.
Our prayer each day should be like Jesus in the garden, not My will but Yours be done because that hard place, dry place or place of opposition...is for His glory. Even Jesus stated, “I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work You have given me to do.” John 17:4
What’s your work that glorifies God?
We should give honor and credit to whom it’s due. Compliments from man are nice. Compliments we receive on style or a job well done have place. The compliment of God’s glory that we may glorify Him is everything. John 17:1
He deserves all glory, honor and the praise.
